Frank Scott is a native of Baltimore, Maryland but has lived in Campbell County on and off for over 30 years. He is a 1982 graduate of Campbell County High School and went to college at Towson University in Maryland (then Towson State) from 1982-1986 studying Communications. He began his radio career in college. At the same time, Frank worked for the Baltimore Sun. In 1993, he returned to Tennessee and began working for 104.9 FM. He has been doing mornings ever since on what is now the new and improved Q-Country WTNQ. Frank has been producing local Cougar sports broadcasts for 18 seasons. Over the years, Frank has interviewed many country music greats including Loretta Lynn, Juice Newton and the late Eddie Rabbitt. He is also a regionally recognized blogger whose work has been featured in media outlets in Knoxville and Nashville.

Shannon Stone 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Shannon started her radio career in her hometown of Denver, Colorado
at Top 40 KS104. She got the “programming bug” from watching veteran
leaders create exciting, fun radio and has had the opportunity to
program Classic Rocker KYJT in Arizona and the legendary Country
station KKCS in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Chuck Jacobs 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Chuck Jacobs – He’s an icon of east Tennessee in the broadcasting community. Chuck has had a long career spanning 30 plus years over vast regions in the U.S. He started as an on-air personality in Albuquerque, New Mexico and worked mornings in Classic Rock and Oldies formats. Chucked relocated to Dayton, Ohio and worked afternoons at a rock station before moving to East Tennessee and taking on afternoons at Q- Country ten years ago. He has had a solid following of listeners ever since with his handpicked and request show “Musta Got Lost”.
Chuck has hosted interviews with musicians and bands such as Charlie Daniels, Johnny Lee, John Conlee, Con Hunley, Mickey Clark, Parrott Bothers, Dixie Highway Band and many, many more.
Chuck also produces and hosts the long running and very popular “Soppin the Gravy” show airing live on Saturdays from 8am to 12 noon. The show features unique traditional and progressive bluegrass that you just won’t hear anywhere else.
For the last 9 years Chuck has worked as emcee introducing popular national musical groups at the Tennessee Valley Fair “Bluegrass Day” held every fall.
Chuck has been featured and interviewed by many writers in articles and magazines over the years. Chuck is a unique individual and has a sound like no other DJ in the business today.

Cathy Taylor 8:00 pm - 1:00 am
Cathy is a Florida native that is a true blue fan of the Tampa Bay
Rays. She is not a girl who will sit down for long unless she can find
a good book. Cathy loves outdoor sports including skiing, hiking,
tennis and mountain biking. She started her broadcasting career in
Florida and has hosted shows on WTBT classic rock Tampa and WOLZ AC in
FT. Myers. Morning news credentials were added in Denver for a local
cluster of radio stations. She is the newest member of the Q-Country
team taking on the evenings from 8pm-1am EST.

Mustang Sally (Promotions) 12:00 am - 12:00 am
Cindi Alpert, a.k.a. Mustang Sally got her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University with aspirations for an anchor spot on one of the local networks, but fell in love with radio during her first real paid gig as a traffic reporter. This was back when they actually put reporters in helicopters. She would fly twice a day, every day and never leave the city. With names like Elaine Change, Ivana Merge and Helen Wheels. Cindi did Mornings on WHOK and WLLD in Columbus, Ohio before running the sales department at her family's station WAVV in Southwest Florida. The Alperts purchased 104.9 in 2008, fixed it up, got it running at full power and have built it up to become Campbell County's most community oriented and popular radio station. You’ll see Cindi singing National Anthems around the area for the Campbell County Cougars as well as the Knoxville Ice Bears. She is also a television spokesmodel for Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Cindi was recently featured on the cover of Everything Knoxville Magazine for her accomplishments in business in the Knoxville area. Cindi and her husband Jeff have a 7-year-old daughter and enjoy golf, skiing and scubadiving.
